Firelock Exploder is a specialized device designed to safely release excess pressure inside a building in the event of an explosion. It is installed in the roof structure or facade and activated by a safety relief valve set to a defined release force. In the event of an explosion, the flap opens immediately and the accumulated pressure is released, minimising the risk of damage to the structure and injury to persons due to the pressure wave. The device is also equipped with a stainless steel safety cable that prevents the flap from being torn out. Firelock Exploder is available in various sizes and configurations – with different types of flap fillings and frame designs. The high degree of variability allows the device to be adapted to specific project requirements, ensuring effective protection at optimal cost.
